Epicentre Closes Marina Bay Sands outlet

In June last year Elush Retail Group, the management group behind Epicentre and iStudio, advised it would be restructuring its technology portfolio.

Epicentre and iStudio had both been operating as premium Apple resellers. 

However, with market conditions tightening and increased competition from the likes of Apple opening its own concept store on Orchard Road, Epicentre has been re-pitched, as Elush puts it, as a 'multi-brand lifestyle retailer' with a focus beyond Apple.

Stores previously owned by Epicentre have been transferred to sister company iStudio, who recently also acquired the Apple reseller business from Newstead Technologies.

Epicentre’s new business life is now centred around enriching the digital lifestyle of its customers, with two outlets on Orchard Road at ION Orchard and Wheelock Place.

At these locations the brand offers an array of consumer electronic devices and gadgets from a range of international brands, which can also be purchased online.
